Hello, and thank you for visiting my website! I am Liam, and I am thrilled to introduce myself to you. I was born and raised in Youghal, Co. Cork. I was educated locally and also in St. Coleman’s College in Fermoy, before entering St. Patrick’s College, Maynooth. After leaving college I worked as an Assurance Salesman and then in the retail sector.
Throughout my life I have been drawn to the importance of respectful ritual marking the important moments. This is something that we as humans have always done. In ancient times we acknowledged the sun, moon, and stars, and how they played an important part of our lives in nature. Nature looked after us in the world, marking the passage of seasons which we called time, and provided us with sustenance and shelter. In our more recent history, we formalised this in the more institutional religions that we all acknowledge. My hope for you all is that you all recognize That in nature, the universe, and source which gives meaning to your Life, and however you know It and by whatever name you give It, may you always know it as Love.
My journey into celebrancy began with a profound appreciation for the power of storytelling and of ritual. Everyone has a beautiful narrative to share, and I am honoured to weave those narratives into heartfelt ceremonies that reflect the personalities, and values of the people celebrating the important milestone.
Whether you’re planning a wedding, vow renewal, commitment ceremony, other milestone celebration or funeral, I am here to guide you every step of the way. From our initial consultation to the celebration, my goal is to ensure that your special ceremony is filled with joy, love, and cherished moments that will last a lifetime.
As a trained celebrant, I bring a blend of creativity, professionalism, and genuine warmth to each ceremony I officiate. With a keen attention to detail and a knack for capturing the essence of the moment, I strive to create an atmosphere that is authentic, meaningful, and deeply resonant with you.
I am a proud member of the ceremony team with ESF, where we acknowledge and respect the beliefs of all members of society. Our mission statement reads “The Earth Spiritualist Tradition is a Spiritual way of life without the dogma and mandate of a Religion or Religious Order. Encompassing the culture and traditions of the people and the land, which has existed as a way of life not only here in Ireland, but also in many places around the world since ancient times. With its ancient roots also in Celtic Christianity, the Earth Spiritualist Tradition is a way of life based on the Irish tradition of Kindness – which itself is a fundamental Spiritual law. For those seeking to find inner peace, our Six Principles of Daily Life provide a wisdom path to happiness and healing within and around us in everyday life.”
I am also a practising EOL ( End of Life) Doula and in this work, I strive to help people deal with grief, be it the anticipatory grief of a person who has received a diagnosis or the heartfelt grief a person feels when their loved one has died.
While I am based in Munster, I am delighted to serve people from all areas and all walks of life nationwide. No matter your background, beliefs, or traditions, I am dedicated to celebrating Love in all its beautiful and inclusive forms.
Thank you for reading this and I look forward to getting to know you, hearing your story, and creating a ceremony that is as extraordinary as you are!
